LIVIT is a name which expresses the energy, intention and spirit of your desired space. Everything we do is put into this notion of seizing the opportunity to live a life which is everything you’ve dreamt of and providing you with the backdrop in which to do so.

Founder and owner Tim Johnson is an experienced Landscape and lifestyle designer with a proven history in the landscape and construction industry, ranging from sprawling family estates to small city lots. Tim’s passion for residential design shows in his many diverse and award-winning projects and the trust that his clients have shown throughout the years, taking him wherever their next home is, including out of state projects. Connecting the inside and outside living areas through a detailed and proven program, Tim provides the experience each client will need for a successful and fun project.

A family owned business, Tim isn’t interested in being the busiest landscaper around, just the best. His desire to stay in touch with each client and project on a daily basis, making sure he has the best crews and vendors available as well as spending time with his family means he is as selective of his projects and clientele as they are of him. Fun, integrity, communication, respect and equal investment in the project are important factors when selecting projects for the season. Life’s short. Let’s enjoy it.

Tim’s favorite humans on the planet are his wife, Melanie and their two sons, Kelan (14) and Gage (10). Spending time with them, coaching their sports teams, traveling and making time for family movie nights are the things that fill Tim with the spirit of LIVIT.

Needless to say, Tim has skills. He holds his BS in both Landscape Horticulture and Landscape Design, was the lead designer of the KARE 11 backyard, and has won many local and national awards through his 20 years as a Landscape Designer.
